Design your own gym
The health and exercise trend goes from strength to strength – and Bibliotekstan is no exception.
We are now building an entire area focused on health and exercise. In the autumn, premium Italian gym equipment brand Technogym will open a concept store of approximately 150 sqm. It will be Technogym’s first store in Sweden; the brand already has stores in cities such as Milan, Zurich and Copenhagen.
The brand’s training equipment differs from everything else on the market in terms of quality and cutting-edge technology – as well as its exclusive, Italian design. Technogym’s products are now available in the most exclusive gyms and in five-star hotels around the world. Technogym recently launched a design collaboration with Dior and their most exclusive collection, Personal Line, has been developed together with star designer Antonio Citterio. Technogym’s stores are also designed by Citterio, who is known for his clean lines.
“We’re delighted to welcome Technogym to the Bibliotekstan. The brand complements our existing concepts in exercise and health well and contributes to further strengthening Bibliotekstan as a shopping destination and meeting place,” says Emanuel Westin, Head of Business Development, Retail at Hufvudstaden.
The new store will be located at Smålandsgatan 20, next-door to a new premium training concept which will also open this autumn and will be equipped throughout with much of the Technogym range.
In the store, it will be possible to test the latest products from Technogym, have a consultation to design your own home gym and together with experienced architects plan larger projects for the home or commercial settings. Technogym also offers motivational content and personal coaching to create the optimal training experience.
